What is Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)?

Sodium hydroxide is a chemical compound that holds or maintains the pH of skincare products, also known as lye. In soap, it’s combined with animal fat or vegetable oil in a process called saponification.

Essentially, soap is a mixture of base oils, a diluted lye solution, and herbal additives. 
During the soap making process the lye is heavily diluted with water, and added to the oils to create a thick mixture. The mixture is then added to a mold for 24 hours to harden, and set to cure for 4-6 weeks.

During the curing process, the soap bars lose water weight, in which the sodium hydroxide is dissolved. Therefore lye is needed for the chemical process that soap goes through, but it's not present in the final product

MORNING ROUTINE

1. Tongue Scrape x2-3 swipes (directions see below)
2. Brush with Polished Peppermint toothpowder (2 minutes)- before swallowing or spitting, swish the toothpowder around in your mouth to cleanse your tissues.  Spit or Swallow.  Rinsing is optional.
3. Floss with Bamboo-Charcoal Floss Picks.
4. Apply 2-3 drops of Gum Drops on your finger and rub on your gum tissue 
5. Apply 2-3 drops of Gum Drops on your finger and rub on your cheek and mouth tissues

NIGHTTIME ROUTINE

1. Tongue Scrape x2-3 swipes
2. Floss with Bamboo-Charcoal Floss Picks.
3. Brush with BLACK Whitening Peppermint toothpowder (2 minutes)- before swallowing or spitting, swish the toothpowder around in your mouth to cleanse your tissues.  Spit or Swallow.  Rinsing is optional.

Wet your toothbrush. Shake off excess water.  Dip the tip (1/2-2/3 of the brush) in the toothpowder. Brush for 2 minutes. Spit, rinse and SMILE!

Tongue Scraper: 

1. Hold the scraper by the curled edges
2. Gently place the horseshoed end at the back of your tongue
3. Apply light pressure as you pull the scraper along your tongue, removing the white film
4. Rinse Happy Papillae in running water
5. Repeat as necessary
6. Wash with warm, soapy water and store in a dry location
7. Smile... your papillae are happy!

Pit Cleanse

Our detox deodorant works to moisturize your pit so you can purge toxins without odor!!  We added charcoal and clay to help pull unwanted toxins from your pit tissue... the longer you use it, the more effective it is!

1. Hold the deodorant stick against the armpit for 3-5 seconds to warm the stick
2. Apply 2-4 swipes of deodorant
3. Massage into the pit (this will help detox the tissue and even out your application)

Directions

We recommend alternating flossing BEFORE and AFTER you brush. Flossing before you brush will remove plaque and tartar from between the teeth and you will brush it away. Flossing AFTER you brush will carry the minerals from your toothpowder between your teeth and help strengthen the enamel.

The Stick Up 3 oz. deodorants will last 2-3 months when used as directed.  Remember, you only need 2-4 swipes, and massage it in. We suggest a subscription interval of every 8-10 weeks.

DIRECTIONS

Coconut oil melts at temperatures above 72 degrees and becomes harder at temperatures below 72 degrees.  If you stick feels "firm" or leaves clumps, it may be a little "cool".  To warm your stick, simply hold your stick against your armpit for 5 seconds before applying.

How To Swipe Away The Stink

1. Hold deodorant stick against armpit for 3-5 seconds to warm the stick
2. Apply 2-4 swipes of deodorant
3. Massage into the pit (this will help detox the tissue and even out your application)
4. Allow deodorant 5 minutes to absorb
5. Get dressed and enjoy your stink-free day!
6. SMILE you are a Primal Lifer!

For a powder finish feel, please only apply 2-4 swipes and we recommend gently massaging the deodorant in to even out the application and improve circulation (and aid detoxification) of your pit tissue!!  When used as directed, the BLACK formula should not stain clothing or discolor your pit.

No chemical preservatives are added, please use within 12 months.

For those making the switch from commercial deodorant and antiperspirants, please be aware that RE-APPLICATION may be necessary for the first few weeks until detox and adjustment take place. Re-apply when an odor is noticed- the Stick Up should neutralize the odor. Re-application needs should taper as the body adjusts. More information on Detox and Adjustment can be found here.

If you do notice an odor, just reapply. The Stick up™ will take the odor away. One more thing- only apply a small amount, 2-4 swipes- and massage it in.
