Our mission is to provide a decarbonized model for online shopping by becoming the future of local and sustainable e-commerce, elevating the truly sustainable small businesses, keeping the pretenders out, and bringing consumers goods they can truly love at accessible prices.

Dropseed was founded by 2 Climatebase Fellows and lifelong New Yorkers, Nicole Yershov and Matt Rosenbaum. Nicole's background is in product and data science, most recently using satellite and GIS analytics to enable farmers to grow food more sustainably with data driven insights. She recently completed her Life Cycle Analysis certification from MIT. Matt is a 2nd time founder (Generation Conscious: a sustainable detergent sheet co.) and climate journalist (ABC News/Years of Living Dangerously/The Years Project). He recently got his MBA from Columbia Business School.
