Tamanu Oil s rich in fatty acids, which are used to keep the skin moisturized. It also contains antioxidants, which are used to fight against damage from free radicals. The oil's ability to promote collagen and GAG production also plays in its use for anti-aging and skin regeneration.

Emu Oil contains a complete balance of essential fatty acids (Omega 3, Omega 6, and Omega 9), which are used for the regeneration of healthy new skin cells. Natural lipids found in emu oil are used for replenishing skin from the inside out.

Pure Filtered Beeswax provides excellent, breathable protection against the natural elements.

Hemp Seed Oil is made up of 80% essential fatty acid (EFA), the highest amount of any plant. This oil is derived from organic and GMO-free hemp seeds and is used to play a preventative role in skin aging and maintaining a healthy moisture balance.

Rosehip Seed Oil is the only vegetable oil that contains natural Retinoic acid (Vitamin A acid). It is the best vegetable source of omega 3 and a great source of omega 6. Rosehip Seed Oil is used to regenerate the skin and reduce scars.

Sea Buckthorn Oil is a highly prized and specific oil typically used to treat damaged skin, ulcerations, scar tissue, and wrinkles. Sea Buckthorn Oil is used to nourish, revitalize and restore aging skin.

Calendula Oil is known for its high level of carotenoids which promote skin healing. It is used for its cleansing, calming, moisturizing, and soothing properties.

So delicious, so simple

Mix equal parts masa corn flour (widely available in grocery stores) with water; make a golf ball-sized dough. Line the press with parchment paper or a ziploc bag cut down the sides. Place the dough in between the paper/plastic, and close the press. Press once, rotate, and gently press again. Cook ~1 minute on each side. We once gifted a tortilla press to our friend Ben, who now takes the tortilla press to every Taco Tuesday and Mexican-themed night. Once he pulls out the tortilla press, all the ladies join him for tortilla-making. The tortilla press isn’t a puppy, but it’s close.

Made from recycled parts

Our tortilla press is made in Mexico from old Singer sewing machines and other recycled irons. We chose to use cast iron because it gives you uniform, flat tortillas - and lasts forever. And we added some Verve Culture flare with a bright enamel coating that prevents rust.
