We have taken our popular herbal french Lavender and melded it with Sage that is light, earthy and heavenly! If you are an herbal connoisseur you will appreciate this one! This soap offers a nice exfoliate and, like all of Sweet Harvest Farms organic handmade soaps, that rich creamy lather you have come to love. The Lavender/Sage scent is perfect and marrying the two aromas was an easy choice.

Large 7 oz. Bar will last approximately 8-10 weeks in the shower!  Not because of it's size, but because this is a true soap. Our proprietary formula leaves your skin both soft and squeaky clean. If your "soap" leaves a film in your shower it is doing the same to your skin and is most likely made from a base or melt and pour! Yuk!

There is nothing like a real bar of soap!

Sweet Harvest Farms Lavender Sage organic handmade soap is made with saponified Organic oils of Shea Butter, Coconut oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Palm Oil (sustainable) along with Orris Root, Vitamin E and Rosemary Extract, Lavender, Sage.

Combining natural Ylang Ylang Oil with Lavender Oil makes a wonderful combination for the senses.  Refreshing is the best way to sum this scent up. Contains lavender buds as an exfoliant.

What is Sodium Hydroxide (Lye)?

Sodium hydroxide is a chemical compound that holds or maintains the pH of skincare products, also known as lye. In soap, it’s combined with animal fat or vegetable oil in a process called saponification.

Essentially, soap is a mixture of base oils, a diluted lye solution, and herbal additives. 
During the soap making process the lye is heavily diluted with water, and added to the oils to create a thick mixture. The mixture is then added to a mold for 24 hours to harden, and set to cure for 4-6 weeks.

During the curing process, the soap bars lose water weight, in which the sodium hydroxide is dissolved. Therefore lye is needed for the chemical process that soap goes through, but it's not present in the final product
