    Sturdy, durable, and lightweight, the beechwood peel is known for being the Italian chef's choice for moving and serving pizza as the wooden surface is porous and smooth, so it absorbs moisture from the dough and prevents it from sticking. This traditional, shovel-like tool is used by Italian bakers and chefs to slide beneath loaves of bread, pizzas, pastries, and other baked goods into and out of the oven without any spilling or burning (of your fingers OR the pizza).

    Hand wash and air dry only. Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth and moisturize with a simple oil. This product is handmade, please allow slight variations due to the handmade nature of the product.

    • Free shipping on orders over $40. Expedited shipping options are available at checkout.
    • You can return or exchange full-priced products within 30 days. For the holidays, we are extending the Exchange/Store Credit window to January 15, 2024. Returns for refunds are still within 30 days.
    • To obtain a return or exchange label, e-mail bella@verveculture.com Exchanges and returns for store credit are free. If you prefer a refund, there will be a $10.95 shipping and handling fee that will be deducted from your refund.
