Farm-to-shelf approach: By controlling the entire process, from growing the plants to manufacturing the products, it's easier to track the ingredients, ensure sustainable practices and reduce transportation emissions.

Sustainable sourcing: Even if ingredients aren't coming directly from a local farm, sourcing ingredients from traceable growers is always a great option, as it allows for monitoring sustainable practices throughout the supply chain.

Wood Waste: Some vendors listed here use wood waste from nearby FSC-certified plantations to power some of their facilities, lessening dependence on fossil fuels.
